FNL informs four Crimean clubs about their acceptance into the Second League upon passing RFS licensing
Four Crimean clubs have received notifications from the FNL stating that they will be accepted into the league’s third Russian division if they successfully pass the licensing process.
According to a source, these clubs are “Sevastopol,” Simferopol-based “Tavria,” Yalta’s “Rubin,” and Kerch’s “Ocean.” They will be allowed to participate in the Second League and will be added to the participants of the first group of the “South” zone.
The FNL has sent a package of documents to the four clubs, which is necessary for the passportization process. Licensing is scheduled for the end of May. The Second League is the third most significant division in Russian football competitions.
The accreditation of Crimean clubs in the FNL will take place from May 17 to May 23, with a decision expected to be made around May 24.
Currently, domestic clubs and the national team are banned from participating in official international tournaments. Football competitions in Crimea are organized by the Crimean Football Union. This organization holds a special status within UEFA.
